Collection: Recycled Velvet & Ribbons

Add texture and depth to your project by incorporating a number of different recycled ribbons into your work. Select between sari silk ribbon, chiffon ribbon, cotton frizz ribbon, velvet ribbon, raffia ribbon or try some of each!

The ribbons are made out of scraps which are hand painted and sewn together by women in India to create the ribbons. The ribbons are intended to have raw edges and intended to be non uniform in its colouring - this adds to the uniqueness of this product.

Sari Silk Ribbon vs. Chiffon Silk Ribbon - We sell both sari silk and chiffon silk ribbon in a number of colours as well as the undyed (beige) sari silk ribbon. Sari silk ribbon is made of recycled, shiny opaque fabric whereas chiffon silk ribbon is made of a lighter weight, semi sheer fabric.
